Haya Al Badarneh

Jordanian, born in the UAE and now permanently based in Britain, Haya grew up moving between cultures, languages and different ways of seeing the world. That experience has shaped much of the journalist she became and the stories she is drawn to.

Over the past 16 years her work has taken her across the Middle East, Europe and the United States — stories that require time, trust and persistence.
